Sporting Organisations
Supporting performance environments in sport
Working with academies, foundations and elite sporting organisations to strengthen resilience, manage pressure and create psychologically safe cultures.
This includes:
- Supporting athletes through injury and non-selection
- Facilitating structured conversations around mental health and wellbeing
- Parent and coach education
- Embedding practical resilience and stress-management tools
- Contributing to player care and development frameworks
The focus is always long-term: helping athletes perform while protecting their wellbeing and identity beyond sport.
Leadership & Corporate
Sustaining performance in leadership environments
High-performing organisations operate under constant scrutiny and expectation. The challenge is maintaining clarity, culture and performance without burnout.
My work with leadership teams focuses on:
- Navigating sustained pressure
- Strengthening psychological safety
- Supporting leadership during transition or change
- Clarifying expectations and responsibility
- Embedding sustainable performance practices
Drawing on experience in elite sport, corporate leadership and doctoral research, I bring a structured yet human approach to performance under pressure.
Education & Research
Developing Performance and Wellbeing in Education
Secondary school and college environments are increasingly demanding, with young people navigating exam pressure, friendships, identity, decision making, and uncertainty about the future alongside academic expectations.
While education rightly focuses on attainment, many students and the educators, support staff, and leaders around them are often not fully equipped with the tools to manage the psychological and emotional demands that come with these pressures.
I support schools and colleges by delivering evidence informed workshops and programmes for students, and targeted training and consultancy for educators, support staff, and leaders. This helps strengthen wellbeing, improve communication, and create psychologically safe learning environments where both students and staff can thrive.
My approach combines research with real world experience, including applied PhD research on wellbeing and psychological safety, to create engaging, relevant, and impactful learning environments that support both learning and those who deliver it.

One approach, Multiple environments
Whether in elite sport, leadership teams or academic settings, the core questions remain similar:
- How do we perform under sustained pressure?
- How do we protect wellbeing without compromising standards?
- How do we navigate transition responsibly?
My work is grounded in the belief that strong foundations and clear thinking enable sustainable performance wherever pressure exists.
